Kate and Service Dog AmberService-Dog-in-training Harvey visits school

The Social Interaction Therapy (S.I.T. Program) allows the community to help pet and socialize our dogs, while providing a training opportunity for the dogs to practice their skills.

Studies have shown that the simple act of petting an animal lowers blood pressure and encourages well-being. We also know that our puppies need to be held, pet, and socialized as much as possible from the beginning of their lives ...... what a perfect combination. PawPADs provides the puppies and different community members provide the petting!
